In effort to align all employees, investors, and business partners with our strategy, I created a one-pager known as the “Retail Strategy Document”. This has served as a reminder of our vision, financial goal, target customers, brand pillars, enablers, and annual initiatives.

For the original document in 2020, I attended meetings with our company leadership to determine which pieces of our strategy to highlight. After several iterations, we landed on something very similar to what you see today. The current version was updated at the beginning of 2021 to include the year’s initiatives and a few minor updates. A physical copy is distributed annually to each employee.

To keep this document “front of mind” for all employees, this graphic is included on all TVs across the campus. A .pdf is hosted on our company intranet (OLife).

The Retail Strategy document is placed on easels at each entrance on campus.

This strategy document is publicly available – this version has been shared on the Q1 2021 and Q2 2021 earnings calls. It is property of Overstock. Please refer to earnings call presentations for information about the latest retail strategy.
